On June 3, 1955, the New York Times published an article that shocked the world.

The New York Times article, "Looking for Clues in Einstein's Brain" reported: "Einstein's brain will be studied to find the secret of genius. His brain was able to expend human understanding of the universe during his life, and after his death perhaps it could help us understand something else." Harvey divided the brain into 240 pieces, leading to his condemnation and dismissal from Princeton hospital. He devoted the rest of his life to studying the brain.
