Welcome to Home Base! Here is where the snail starts the day and where you can find all other mechanics, and there's quite a lot to find! Be sure to tap everything, you never know where you might find some hidden secrets...
There's a lot of information in here that links to a lot of important pages.. Don't get overwhelmed! If you're brand new and this feels like too much, check out the Newbie Guide to get started.
The 5 Main Screens
In order from leftmost to rightmost, we'll call these screens "The Garage," The Pond," "The Mailbox," "The Gene Room," and "The Cave." Let's see what you can do on each screen...
The Garage
1) Here you'll find the Fissure. With Golden Pickaxes you can dig and dig to find rewards, events, and a new shop. Be sure to hoard all the golden pickaxes you can find until this feature is unlocked!
2) The Garage. Once this feature is unlocked, you'll be able to break down your old gear to get back your glue and B-tads. Later in the Garage you can use the Wormhole, breakdown Rocket materials, and purchase new Rocket materials with Shards collected from the Wormhole.
3) The Rocket. Once unlocked, you'll finally be able to start taking care of Demon Gods in their Domains.
4) The Unknown Creature's house. Defeat the Robot Guard to get this mysterious pet.
The Pond
1) Tap the pond, fungus, mine cart, or time machine to collect your resources. Remember, there's a cap on how much can be produced so collect this every time you're around! The sign is where you can upgrade your Home Resources and embed Relics to improve your production. Unlock the Lumber Camp and Quarry for 2,000 B-tads each. The 2nd slot is unlocked at the 15th level and the 3rd slot is unlocked at the 35th level.
2) The Club. Be sure to join a great club that you like! Clubs compete with each other in Species Wars, which require cooperation between club members to pull ahead.
3) The Altar. Offer souls, meet gods, wish to the dragon, and much more...
The Mailbox
1) The Global Monitor. This contains your daily tasks and batch processing. This resets every day at 6:00am PST. Make sure you get these done, it's worth it!
2) The Vending Machine. Restocks daily at 6:00am PST. Be sure to stock up on everything you need for the day.
3) The Mailbox. Find lots of new encounters, enemies, friends, and prizes in the mailbox as you explore new areas.
4)The Nursery. Here's where you'll find all your minions, clone and heal them, and send them out on chores.
5) The Alchemy Furnace. Use your Wish Coins to gain new Relics, and change out old fragments for new! Later on you can also convert low-tier reagent, coating, and fungi to higher tiers of the same, with a cost.
6) Just before the week resets at Friday 4:00am PST (the game will be offline and un-playable until 6:00am PST), you'll find one of the dedicated monkeys praying for a good maintenance. He'll send you prizes for the trouble afterwards, so be sure to check your inbox!
The Gene Room
1) The Gene Research Machine. Use this to evolve each of your Forms, and find some gear along the way.
2) The Fridge. This is easy to miss, but has prizes in it for the first 15 days you play, including an organ at the end. See the table below of items you can get from the Fridge.
3) The Terminal. In here you'll find lots stuff, including minigames, the Snail Arena, and Gene Simulations.
4) Press this and see what happens! Switch between your Gear Forge to your Incense Altar.
5) Your Gear Forge is where you can view and upgrade all of your Gear. Crucial to progression!
6) The Lottery Machine is where you'll spend your Lottery Tickets and hope for a good RNG. Spend your Lottery Vouchers on an ever-changing rotation of Relics.
7) The Museum, once unlocked, offers you the opportunity to show off your best Relics. There's a shop in it for you, of course.

The Cave
1) The Bookshelf is where you'll find the weekly rankings (be sure to send a thumbs up to congratulate them!), some stock investments, and all your shareable postcards and books. There's quite a few hidden things in here, so be sure to look around.
2) The Robot Guard will guard the treasures of the previous traveler.
3) Once unlocked, here's where you'll find all your Partners and collect their weekly rent.
Top and Bottom Bars
Here you'll find your Power level (tap this for more info!), your B-tads and W-tads, your inbox (different from your mailbox and includes official rewards and news), your settings, your active and inactive tasks, and Weekly and Monthly Events.
Here you'll find the chat, which can be switched between the Dimension Channel (all of the servers in your group), World Channel (just your server), Club Channel (just your club) and Recruitment Channel (Club promotion). Use the chat bubble to chime in.
At the bottom is your Exploration (you'll see a compass when your snail isn't exploring, which it always should be!), snail profile, inventory, Relics, Chests, and the premium shop (to watch ads and spend USD/CAD/AUD).
Snail Profile
There's quite a lot to do in here.. Starting at the top, you can tap on your profile picture to get to Snail Info. Here you can change your name (first time for free!), copy your ID to submit reports to the help team, edit your bio, pick a new avatar, avatar frame, chat bubble frame, and select which four tags you want other people to see. Avatar frames and chat bubbles can be purchased from Vending Machine and Power bonus packs for w-tads, once you meet the requirements. Tags are a bit like achievements that you can show off.
Back to the Snail Stats... You'll see a radar chart with your total of each AFFCT Stats at the top right. This is raised through Relics. See Stats for more details. The next bar in order are your forms, shells, compass, and realm trait. Your gene form can be switched from the base form to any of the other 6, once unlocked (Evolution). You can also transplant and upgrade Organs here. Your shells are gathered from a few places, but mainly chests, and have different boosts. Your Exploration Compass is where you'll embed the best Relics for the highest boosts. See Exploration for more. Your Realm Traits are gathered from each area and provide different buffs to the snail during fights and exploration. Finally, see your current HARD Stats, and equipped Gear.
