Gene Evolution

At first, Gene Evolution is a early-stage system used to help strengthen the snail and unlock more forms. There are 5 upgradable parts: Devouring, Muscle, Brain, Vision, and Neuron. Upgrading them requires a certain level of its corresponding AFFCT and Demon God Cells.

When upgrading, you can select 1 of 3 randomly displayed stat boosts or organs. Always choose the organ when this appears as these boosts are better than others. Otherwise, HARD stats are better than AFFCT stats, specifically ATK > RUSH > DEF > HP. AFFCT stats are roughly equal and more dependent on what you specifically need at that time, if anything. Of course, if you see something like 15 HP vs 5 ATK, the HP is better because it's so much higher. Overall, don't worry about this too much.

Early Upgrades

Devouring requires Zombie Cells and FAME to upgrade and unlocks Zombie Form at level 10.

Gene Research

After unlocking Zombie Form, the Super Gene Expert will arrive in the Mailbox to give you the DNA Evolution Kit.png DNA Evolution Kit which unlocks the Research Machine.

Research is divided according to the 6 alternate Forms. As you raise each rank, you'll gain various boosts. There are 8 relevant items in each Research Set, or Tier, abbreviated to T1, T2, T3, etc... The numbered list on the picture is the order we will list in going forward, with 1 being Snail Stats and 2 being Troop Stats.

In this picture, blue is on the left side and the green (this color will change depending on Form) is on the right side. This goes back and forth but their basic boosts stay the same. Blue will always raise the HARD stats of the snail, regardless of form used. "Green" will always raise Troop HARD Stats of that particular Form. The middle will always provide a special bonus and the last research item will Analyze the Ritual for the next Form Tier.

Research Order

Note that items must be researched in a certain order, generally from top to bottom. However, each item must be researched a certain number of times to be fully researched. If, for example, you've researched the bubble A twice, you can only research bubble B twice. If you've not researched the bubble B at all, you cannot research bubble C.

Angel

Dragon

Unlocking Dragon Form first requires all other forms to be at T5. After that, it can be purchased from the DNA Value pack for 5,000 w-tads. To navigate here, go to the Research Machine > Growth Track > DNA Bonus > gift box tab at the bottom.

Upgrading Dragon Form requires all Demon God Cells and AFFCT. This form is best used everywhere once T4 and above, and increases the chance of finding Dragon Chests.
