Description
On Apr 12, 5050 BC, the New Crow people made the first Mummy, more than 1,000 years earlier than ancient Egyptian did.
New Crow people would usually begin making mummies right after worshiping the dead. Unlike the Egyptians who only make mummies for the nobles, the New Crow people made mummies for their family members. The mummies they made have retained some of the characteristics of the deceased to show their respect. They believe that if bodies buried in the Atacama Desert have not disappeared, then their souls are still in this world.
