Description

On Jun 28, 1919, the Allied Powers signed a treaty at the Palace of Versailles in Paris. This day marks the end of World War I. The negotiation is initiated by a ten-man committee consisting of the government leaders and foreign ministers from five victorious nations. After six months of negotiation, a treaty was signed to impose sanctions on Germany. The treaty has 15 parts and 440 items. The partitioning of Germany's overseas colonies harmed the interest of China, so the Chinese representative left in indignation.
