Description
On Jul 31, AD 134, the seismograph detected an earthquake for the first time, including its magnitude and location.
That day, a dragon orb on the northwest side of the seismograph fell and was picked up by the mouth of a golden toad in Luoyang Palace. A few days later, people learned about the news of the Longxi earthquake! The seismograph points to 8 directions. Each direction has a dragon head and a toad below it. If an earthquake occurs in any of the directions, the orb within the dragon head will fall into the mouth of the toad. This depends on the direction of where the earthquake will occur.
