Description
On Jul 27, 99830 BC, the god of time Cronus created the Orphic Egg, laying the foundation for the creation of the world.
The Orphic Egg is the egg of the creation of the universe, produced by Cronus, the god of time. When it hatched, the silver egg entwined by a serpent splint into two parts, one becoming the earth and one the heaven, in which the primeval deity Phanes was produced. As a hermaphroditic embodiment of light, he possesses both male and female characteristisc. According to Orpheus, as the founder of the mysteries, Phanes is omnipresent and eternal, and because of him, the world becomes visible.
