Description
On Sep 2, 1482 AD, Quasimodo destroyed the bell of Notre-Dame.
Quasimodo lost his job that day. Soon, the Notre-Dame de Paris allocated a huge sum of money and built 9 new bells. Unfortunately, these new clocks were made with poor workmanship and accuracy. As the sound of bells was of different tones and misaligned, it is known as the worst sounding clock in history. Therefore, people understood why Hugo designed to have the deaf Quasimodo be the bell ringer.
