Description
On Oct 18, 1936, Alan Turing claimed that if a computer can pass the Turing test, then it can think like a human being.
Turing proposed an abstract computing model. With simulation abstraction, he abstracted the method of doing calculations on paper by assuming a virtual machine to do it instead. It has a paper tape with an infinite length with many small squares of different colors on it. The machine reads the grid information from the tape, finds the program table, and converts its own internal state to calculate the result. This was the basic formal model of modern computers.
