Description
On Oct 6, 33 AD, this cross, which was used to crucify Jesus, became a holy relic.
Jesus Christ was crucified on this cross and resurrected 3 days later. The True Cross is regarded as a symbol of salvation that Jesus gave to humanity. It is said that when Baldwin IV fought in the Crusades and charged with the front lines, the True Cross beside him was emitting the bright rays of the sun, helping him to defeat a much stronger army. The last time the True Cross appeared in history was at the Battle of Hattin, which ended in Crusaders' defeat, and the True Cross fell into the hands of Muslims.
