Description

Ruska, a German physicist, designed this electron microscope. Although optical microscopy is the technical basis for it, its resolution is one thousandth that of an electron microscpe. It replaced light waves with an axisymmetric electron beam as a new medium for presenting images to observe the target object, avoiding wavelength restriction and significantly improving the microscope's performance.
