Ma'at Tablet

A magic slate that traverses time! Grants Sand of Time in explorations, the sand can be converted to Speedups!

The Ma'at Tablet is a unique Realm Trait that can be used to travel to the past or future of each Realm. Obtained after defeating the Kemet Apostle Eli Basha, the tablet can be equipped during exploration to collect Sand of Time which can be used to buy various Speedups.

Kemet is the only Realm where you can travel to the past or future without the Ma'at Tablet equipped. Upgrading the tablet allows you to travel to the past and future of previous realms.

Upgrades

Upgrading the Ma'at Tablet requires Ma'at Tablet Frags. These fragments can be obtained by defeating the final two apostles in the Past and Future of each realm. The only regions to break this rule are Kemet, in which all four future apostles drop a fragment, and Murika which does not follow the conventions set by previous time travel realms.

The table below contains a list of all currently available Past and Future Apostles that drop a Ma'at Tablet Frag on defeat.

Effect

Each level of the Ma'at Tablet requires one Ma'at Tablet Frag and increases the amount of Sand of Time gained when exploring by 1%. New realms are unlocked for time travel every 4 levels as denoted by the table below.

Sand of Time Exchange

Sand of Time collected during exploration can be exchanged for speedups within the Ma'at Tablet upgrade page. The trait will have a notification if you have enough Sand of Time to redeem a speedup.

Unsealing

Once the Ma'at Tablet has been upgraded to the max level (30), you have the option to Unseal the Spirit trapped inside. Doing this costs 300 Magic Potion. Unsealing releases the spirit Apocalypse Mage, who will gift you Gear Chest +100 and Glue +50 as a thank you.

Upgrading Apocalypse Mage is quite expensive, but doing so gives permanent buffs to your snail.
