Description
On July 14, 1369 AD, the Charlemagne Statue was officially unveiled.
Charlemagne, one of the most significant rulers in medieval Europe, was the creator of the Carolingian Empire. This statue was crafted to commemorate his remarkable accomplishments. Recognized by the Roman Church and holding the dual role of both secular and religious ruler, the outstanding monarch's power symbols, the crown and the scepter, are finely detailed in the statue. His mature and wise countenance is faithfully reproduced.
